About this Event
You can become an important part of the by volunteering! Learn more at an Arboretum Volunteer Orientation on Thursday, Feb. 12 from 5 to 6 p.m. in the classroom of the Arboretum Shed ().*
This orientation will acquaint new volunteers with the many ways they can give their time and effort to keep the Arboretum clean and safe.
Our generous volunteers help serve visitors, preserve the natural areas and improve the Arboretum for future generations.
Free but registration is required. Registration will close Feb. 11 or when capacity is reached. All ages are welcome. A Zoom link can be shared upon request.

*Directions:
From Neil St & Kirby Ave:
— Turn east onto Kirby Avenue and continue straight, passing Geis Memorial Stadium and the State Farm Center
— At the traffic light, turn right (south) onto South Lincoln Avenue and continue past the Arboretum gardens, Japan House, and public parking lots. You will pass Hazelwood Drive
— Turn left (east) onto a gravel drive (across the street from the Dairy Cattle Research facility) and continue until you reach the Shed on your left.
Starting from Neil St & Windsor Rd:
— Turn east onto Windsor Road and continue straight and pass Research Park
— At the traffic light turn left (north) onto South Lincoln Avenue and continue past the livestock research facilities.
— Turn right (east) onto a gravel drive (across the street from the Dairy Cattle Research facility) and continue until you reach the Shed on your left.
