🗑️📄 Have old documents you need to safely dispose of? Join us for a Free Community Document Shredding Event by Shred-it at Town Hall! 🌳✨

Community Shred-it Events promote prevent identity theft and promote sustainability, by recycling all shredded documents. One event alone can result in the recycling of over 70 tons of paper.
What Should Consumers Bring to Community Shred-it Events?
Residents can and should bring any paper documents containing personal information to Community Shred-it Events. Some examples include:
-Unneeded financial documents
-Unnecessary receipts and bills
-Expired policies
-Junk mail
-Shipping labels
-Photos
What Shouldn’t Consumers Bring to Community Shred-it Events?
Community Shred-it Events only offer paper document shredding services, so consumers should not bring any specialty information storage or other types of waste.

Arbor Day Schedule of Events
7:00–10:00 AM – Youth Catch-and-Release Fishing Derby at Goat Island Park (ages 17 & under) with awards, light snacks, and fun for young anglers. Sponsored in part by the Catawba Riverkeeper.
9:00 AM – Goat Island Dog Park Ribbon Cutting at 305 Greenwood Place, Belmont. Bring your pup for giveaways and a morning of fun!
9:00 AM–12:00 PM – Free Community Document Shredding Event at Town Hall. Safely dispose of sensitive documents while helping protect the environment through paper recycling.
11:00 AM – Arbor Day Tree Planting Ceremony & Dedication at the corner of Timberlane Drive and Cimarron Boulevard as we celebrate our commitment to a greener future.
8:00 PM – End the day with a FREE outdoor showing of Hidden Rivers of Southern Appalachia at Centennial Center, presented in partnership with the Town of Cramerton and Catawba Riverkeeper. This inspiring documentary explores the remarkable rivers and streams of Southern Appalachia and the people working to protect them.
Whether you're casting a line, celebrating with your four-legged friend, securely shredding old documents, planting roots for the future, or enjoying an evening under the stars, there's something for everyone on this special day in Cramerton!
