Join the Forestry and Open Space Departments for ceremonial tree plantings to celebrate Arbor Day and the Town's 43rd year as a Tree City USA. The ceremony will begin at 9:00 AM at Town Park. The Forestry team will need all the help they can get with planting seven new trees. Grab a shovel and come back every year to see your tree grow. There will be a drawing for a sapling Spring Snow Crabapple tree, and the winners of the 8th annual Arbor Day Poster Contest will be announced. Everyone is welcome, and coffee and donuts will be provided. If you would like to help plant a tree, please wear closed-toe shoes and bring gloves with you.Visit Berthoud.org/Forestry to learn more.
