Highland Park's Arbor Day Celebration returns on April 25, 2026 with special exhibits, demos, and giveaways to brighten up your home and garden this spring! The fun will include:- Plant & tree giveaways to green up your home & garden
- Tree planting demonstration/Q & A Session
"Meet & Greet" with birds of prey hosted by Northern Illinois Raptor Rehab & Education
- Bicycle Recycling courtesy of Working Bikes (Adult bikes accepted in repairable condition or gently-used kids bikes, bike parts, tools, and accessories)
- Touch-A-Truck exhibit
- Insect Safety Kits courtesy of North Shore Mosquito Abatement District
- Electric Vehicle Showcase presented by Go Green Highland Park & the City's Sustainability Advisory Group
