Please join the Village of McFarland for our annual Arbor Day Celebration! This event will take place, rain or shine, on Friday, April 24 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Lewis Park shelter.The celebration will include a short presentation on tree selection and proper tree trimming techniques for young trees, followed by a trimming demonstration in the park! We will also be giving away 50 FREE tree seedlings to community members, including 25 white oak seedlings and 25 river birch seedlings, all approximately 2-3 feet tall.
The event will also include chainsaw maintenance demonstrations, a display of other forestry equipment, and an activity table.
