Arazbari: A Night of Azerbaijani Music

Glasgow will host a special Azerbaijani music event celebrating the 140th anniversary of the legendary composer Uzeyir Hajibeyov, the father of Azerbaijani classical music and opera.

The evening will feature a captivating performance by Andy Alston, the acclaimed pianist and former keyboardist of Scottish chart-toppers Del Amitri. With a career that has taken him to some of the world’s most prestigious stages, Alston brings a unique blend of artistry and emotion to this cultural tribute.
