Aramaic Song Circle
About this Event
Aramaic Song Circle
You are invited to our in-person Aramaic Song Circle, where we gather to chant, sing, and connect through the beautiful healing frequencies within the ancient language of Aramaic.
Aramaic is one of the oldest languages on earth, and has traceable origins back 3,000 years ago. It is the language that the Christ lineage would have spoken, and that their original sacred texts have been written in. For this reason, it is considered to hold an energetic and spiritual frequency when spoken or chanted, and holds sacred mysticism in every word. Each letter within the Aramaic alphabet embodies a unique symbolic meaning, and holds a spiritual force that moves through you to awaken your inner light. Serving as the building blocks to a language that truly heals.
In this Aramaic Song Circle, we will spend the evening chanting together to the sacred sounds of the Shruti box, quartz crystal bowls and the frame drum.
Participation is optional, though encouraged - even if in the form of a hum or harmony. Your voice is a sacred instrument in this choir.

About Aria:
Aria is a student of the Magdalene Ministry by Ana Otero, where she is immersed in the study of Aramaic song and mysticism through the teachings of Mary Magdalenes gospel. She has embarked on a journey to reclaiming her authentic singing voice, and finds perfectionism in the imperfect. Aria believes that everyone has a song to sing, and that everyone has the ability to alchemize through the power of voice. Aria has sung in medicine ceremonies, at festivals, and loves to share in the community of song.
Aria is also a devotee to the wisdom of the womb, and offers Ceremonial Womb Care (Pelvic floor bodywork) out of her space in North Vancouver.
