About this Event

Arabia Reads is thrilled to welcome two-time Pulitzer nominee David George Haskell, an Atlanta-based writer and biologist acclaimed for his lyrical explorations of the living world. Haskell is a two-time finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in General Nonfiction, and his other literary awards include an Award in Literature from American Academy of Arts and Letters.

Haskell will lead a Daisy Days edition Walk & Talk at the Arabia Mountain Nature Center where he'll discuss his new book . After this, he will lead a short walk onto the outcrop, where he'll make connections between his book and the local flowering life at Arabia, including the famous Porter's sunflower (aka the daisies)!
