A Classic Mystery Brought to Life Juniata Presents continues its season with suspense and intrigue right here in Huntingdon as Aquila Theatre brings Sherlock Holmes to life in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Hound of the Baskervilles.

One of the foremost producers of classical theater in the United States, Aquila Theatre will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026, in Rosenberger Auditorium at the Halbritter Center for the Performing Arts at Juniata College.
Set against the eerie backdrop of England’s fog-shrouded moors, the story follows Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson as they investigate the chilling death of Sir Charles Baskerville. With rumors of a ghostly hound haunting the Baskerville family, Holmes must separate fact from superstition in one of literature’s most iconic mysteries.
