The Buck Moon takes its name from Algonquin traditions, where lunar cycles were used to track and describe changes happening in nature. The Buck Moon happens during the period of summer when white-tailed bucks are growing their full rack of antlers. There is something quietly powerful about that image: transformation happening not in a single dramatic moment, but steadily, visibly, in real time.
In Aquarius, this full moon crackles with electric, visionary energy. Aquarius sees the bigger picture. It breaks patterns, challenges assumptions, and asks what we owe each other as a collective.
Under this moon, we are invited to release what no longer serves the life we are actually building, and to step more fully into the version of ourselves we have been quietly becoming.
