About this Event
The programme is a structured 6-week therapeutic aquatic exercise programme with two sessions per week.
Dates and time: Tuesday 13th and Thursday 15th of October @12:30pm-1:30pm for 6 weeks
AquaEASE is a gentle, supportive water-based exercise programme designed for adults living with persistent pain, arthritis, or long-term musculoskeletal conditions. The programme uses the unique benefits of warm-water exercise to help reduce joint strain, improve movement, build strength, and increase confidence in physical activity.
Delivered by a trained instructor, each session includes a combination of aerobic activity, strengthening exercises, mobility work, and flexibility exercises, all adapted to suit individual needs and abilities. Participants are supported throughout the session in the water, with guidance on safe movement, exercise technique, and suitable modifications to ensure everyone can participate comfortably and confidently.
You do not need to be able to swim to take part. Exercises are completed in chest-depth water, with the buoyancy and support of the water helping participants move more freely and safely in a welcoming group environment.
The programme runs for 6 weeks, with two sessions per week, providing an opportunity to build confidence, increase activity levels, and connect with others while working towards improved movement and wellbeing.
