Come along to Immingham Swimming Pool on Thursday 28th November 2024 5-6pm for a special edition swimfit class to raise funds for Ella and her family. Ella’s mum was a regular at our weekly swimfit class for a long time until sadly, her 12 year old daughter Ella was diagnosed with leukaemia. The funds we raise on the night will be donated directly to Ella and her family to help them out a little during their tough times and to generally show them that they are in our thoughts and prayers.
What’s happening?
🕺💃🏼A 60 minute cardio workout to music 5-6pm at Immingham Swimming Pool, led by Aqua Aerobics instructor, Joss. You do not have to be able to swim, this class takes place in the shallow end of the pool where you can stand up. All participants must be aged 14+. You do not have to be a member of Lincs Inspire’s facility, you can just turn up on the night and pay on the door. Members will get this class free, non members it’s £6.90.
🍰🍪 We will also be having a bake sale in reception, courtesy of our fantastic Lifeguard, Swimming Teacher and staff room star baker, Helen. There will be a range of baked goods available to purchase to raise further funds for Ella and her family.
Sponsor forms will be available to collect from Immingham Swimming Pool reception in case you wish to collect sponsors from friends and family. We will also have a donation tub on the bake sale table for those that do not want to complete a sponsor form but wish to make a small personal contribution.
Come on, share this event with your friends and family, let’s have a great turn out. This will be an hour of great fun and laughter as we sweat out some lbs, dance to some great tunes and show our support for a wonderful local family in their time of need.
