About your host:

Katy has been cooking since she could reach the countertop, learning the English classics from her mother and grandmother. Upon moving from London to NYC - not notorious for its habit of home cooking - she ran against the grain by regularly hosting dinner parties in her tiny Brooklyn apartments alongside her career in fashion.In response to the solitude that the covid pandemic created, in 2023, Katy extended a dinner invitation to friends, acquaintances and strangers alike with the inception of her supper club - Symeski Made Dinner - where guests were invited to join in the experience of new friendship and growing community alongside elevated and abundant family style dining.Katy has since hosted more than 150 people, collectively, at supper club events as well as cheffed for private dinners and parties, worked as a wine professional and been recruited as an Allrecipes Allstar.
