April: Watercolor Basics Workshop
Overview:
This hands-on workshop will guide you through the basics of watercolor painting while focusing on the creative and relaxing benefits of exploring this versatile medium. Intended for absolute beginners to watercolor, the workshop offers a low-pressure opportunity to try out materials and tools and experiment with simple techniques. During the workshop, you’ll create three simple watercolor paintings: a landscape, a floral still life, and a botanical graphic composition
What You'll Learn:
The basic materials and tools for watercolor painting
Techniques for activating, mixing, and applying color
Exercises to improve your confidence and explore your creativity
Materials:
The cost of the workshop includes a starter kit featuring a small set of student-grade pan watercolors, two basic brushes, cold press watercolor paper, a pencil, eraser, and pen.
Cost: $25 per person
