About this Event
3:45 Doors 4:00 Sound Bath
Join us for a rejuvenating Sound Bath Experience at Shelby Bottoms Nature Center, nestled in the heart of East Nashville’s lush greenway. As the day winds down, immerse yourself in an evening of restorative sound led by John Paul, a certified professional sound healing practitioner.
This unique session blends the ethereal tones of quartz crystal singing bowls, the deep resonant hum of upright bass, gentle chimes, and other harmonic instruments designed to guide you into deep relaxation. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Shelby Bottoms, you’ll be invited to release stress, quiet the mind, and reconnect with your inner calm.
In this special event, John will be joined by esteemed digitial sound healing artist, Michael Beckhart. Michael Beckhart is a Mexico City musician, producer and educator based in Nashville. As a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Contemporary Writing & Production, and Songwriting, he blends formal training with a deep interest in sound as a tool for reflection and presence. Currently performs as a Bass with the Nashville Symphony Chorus and creates ambient music designed to support meditative listening environments using lap steel guitar, acoustic guitar, and Native American flute. Alongside his performance work, Michael composes, produces, and collaborates with artists across Nashville, Los Angeles, New York, and Mexico City. His approach to sound is rooted in curiosity and creating moments of renewal.
Whether you’re new to sound healing or a seasoned practitioner of mindfulness, this event is an opportunity to rest, reset, and restore—no experience required.
