This sketch meet provides many aspects for drawing our local icon, USS North Carolina & surrounding area. Arrive by 10 am and check in with host, Paula Thrush, near right side entrance of the Veterans Walkway and USS North Carolina.
In case of rain, check in will be under the pavillion facing the river.
See the battleship up close, the river banks, & nature from the walkway surrounding the ship. Check out the skyline & buildings of downtown, across the river.
Indoor gathering space & snack machines entrance can be found nextt to near restrooms on left side of visitors center or through the gift shop. Free parking and restrooms on site. (Admission fee if touring aboard ship.)
