The Diamond in the Rough Women’s Retreat led by Marlena DeCarion is an intimate, nature-rooted gathering for women who are ready to pause, soften, and reconnect with their inner clarity.

Taking place near Cortez, Colorado at Ancient Echos (https://www.kellyplace.com), this retreat is held at a beautiful, relaxed rustic retreat center that offers both grounding simplicity and modern comfort. Surrounded by wide-open land and natural beauty, the space is designed to support deep rest, reflection, and renewal.

This experience is for women who have been holding a lot — emotionally, mentally, or energetically — and are feeling the quiet pull toward spaciousness, alignment, and deeper self-connection. Through intentional time in nature, guided reflection, and a supportive container, participants are invited to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with what truly matters.

Marlena deCarion (she/her) is a Master Certified Coach, Senior Faculty at the Co-Active Training Institute and a certified teacher of Mindfulness. Marlena’s passion for wilderness began as a child while backpacking with her father in the high Sierras. As a former Outward Bound instructor and experiential educator, Marlena loves to create transformational learning experiences that bring people closer to the natural world, their soul and their human potential. Marlena is also a Diamond Approach student and spent years in deep Buddhist practice, has studied shamanism, anti-racism trauma healing and non-dual spirituality.
