Join us on Tuesday, April 22nd for our Earth Day community event! We'll gather at Baba's Hummus House (2220 Lyndale Ave S) from 7-9 PM for an evening of crafting and casual chats.
Create a junk journal page or collage using recycled materials like old magazines, cereal boxes, and other paper "trash" - turning waste into art in honor of Earth Day! You can contribute to our community zine (which will be printed and distributed at the Wedge Office afterward) or create your own personal collage to take home. We’ll provide supplies like used magazines, scissors, glue. This is a perfect opportunity to meet neighbors, get creative, and celebrate our commitment to reusing and recycling.
Bring your own magazines/materials to reuse and recycle, if you have some! There will also be plenty provided to go around.
All Wedge residents are welcome, whether you're a longtime resident or brand new to the neighborhood. No ticket or purchase is required. First round of appetizers are on us! Please also consider helping us give back to businesses that host us. Baba’s has generously agreed to let us use their space, so we’d love to see folks ordering drinks and food to make it worth their while!
