In this long-awaited and highly requested double-header show, Canadian duo APRIL MOON join forces with folk-country duo WINDING ROOTS (Kirzy & Becky) for a special night of music, storytelling, harmonies, and beautifully chaotic fun.
The four musicians first crossed paths in Fuerteventura, where Kirzy teamed up with Jason & Jaime of APRIL MOON to co-write and record the song Happy Place. After a magical sold-out performance at Liverpool’s Arts Bar last summer — featuring Becky Gilman on fiddle — audiences (and musicians) were left wanting more of the chemistry, laughter, and musical madness that unfolded onstage.
It's time to bring it back!
The evening will feature full sets from both APRIL MOON (original music, 'Song's & Stories' show) and WINDING ROOTS before all four musicians come together for a collaborative finale.
Expect heartfelt songs, rootsy grooves, plenty of laughs, and a night that celebrates friendship, collaboration, and the joy of live music.
VENUE: Coopers (new venue) Warehouse Arts Centre, 30 West St, Southport, PR8 1QN
🪑 Seating will be tables and chairs
🕓 TIMES: Doors are at 7pm
Music starts at 7:30pm and we are aiming to be finished by 10:30pm so you have time to catch the last train home (station is 10 minute walk from venue
🛏️ HOTEL: If you want to stick around to have a drink with us at the end of the night, we recommend checking out the Travelodge - they have lovely rooms at a good price and are a 6 minute walk away
