Trout season is coming!!!! The club has designed an amazing “get ready for flyfishing season opener” meeting. It will focus on both fly-casting and fly-tying instruction and demonstration. Here is our agenda for the Thursday meeting.

Note the SPECIAL EARLIER START TIME!!! Fly Casting with Sam will begin at 5:00 PM. Sam will do a fly-casting demonstration on the front lawn of the Recreation Center. Bring your rods and practice casting, receive instruction/pointers to improve both distance and accuracy. Advanced casters will be there to give pointers and help with casting instruction.

General Meeting to begin, as usual, 6:30 PM.
The advanced tyers in the club will be demonstrating how to tie the major classes of flies we use on the water. This is essential information a fly fisherman needs to be successful for PA hatches. We will be tying/demonstrating:
Nymphs
Dry flies
Wet flies
Streamers
Emergers
& Cripples
