These sessions are created in a ritual container that draws on the energy of the moon's cycles as an opportunity to look deeper into oneself, and current life circumstances to aid in inner growth and intuition. Learn about the energies of each full moon paired with writing prompts and reflection for expanded clarity on your path. Develop a practice of journeying beyond ordinary consciousness to connect with your compassionate helping spirits for guidance, wisdom, and healing. We use the sound of drums, rattles, and our voices to alter brain waves into entrainment, inducing a trance state.
In this art journey session, we will experiment with a variety of techniques and guided visualization methods to go into a trance state based on the energy of the lunation. After, we move into a loosely prompted intuitive art practice that allows you to integrate the information obtained from the journey experience. Learn how to create sacred space with the elements, connect to the realm of spirit, and dive deeper into developing your own meditative, creative practice.
This class will be open to all levels of experience, materials will be provided.
IN-STUDIO: After you register, you will receive an email on the event day with details on how to get to Mishana Yoga.
ON ZOOM: If attending online, please have a journal, art materials of your choice, paper, a blindfold and a candle available. Feel free to set up an altar or sacred space at home. A zoom link will be emailed to you the day of the event.
About Facilitator:
Lindsay Jamison is a visionary artist, yoga and meditation educator, and magical/healing arts practitioner. She has been studying and practicing spirituality for almost 20 years. In 2017, Lindsay experienced a psychic awakening that led her to seek teachers of shamanism, magic, and other esoteric practices to learn how to be of service with these gifts. She is passionate about sharing creativity, mysticism, and healing practices with others. Lindsay has over 10 years of training in yoga, meditation, and energy practices including Reiki and Pranic Healing. She apprenticed with Salicrow, a psychic medium, studying spirit communication and elemental magic in 2021. Lindsay has continued her studies with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies since 2019. She has a BFA in Sculpture and is a lifelong artist and educator.
