Join us for an evening of community, remembrance, and giving at the April DeManss Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser at Pooles Island Brewing Company.
April DeManss, lovingly known as “Ape,” touched the lives of everyone she met. She was a bright light in this world, sharing warmth, kindness, laughter, and positivity wherever she went. Throughout her cancer journey, April openly shared her experiences to help others, inspiring countless people through her honesty, strength, and courage.
April was a lifelong learner who encouraged those around her to seek knowledge, embrace growth, and pursue their passions. She was also a dedicated advocate for animal rights, giving a voice to those who could not speak for themselves and working tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of animals.
In honor of April’s legacy, efforts are underway to establish the April DeManss Memorial Scholarship, creating opportunities for others to learn, grow, and make an impact in their communities—just as April did throughout her life.
Join us at Pooles Island Brewing Company as we come together to celebrate April’s life and help lay the foundation for this meaningful scholarship. The evening will feature:
• A 50/50 raffle
• Silent auction items
• Additional fundraising activities and community support opportunities
• Delicious wood-fired pizza from B's Brick Oven Pizza
B’s Brick Oven Pizza is proud to support this effort by donating $2 from every pizza sold during the event directly to the scholarship fund.
