Join us for a brilliant night of live stand-up at Llangollen Town Hall, showcasing some of the best comedians on the UK circuit.
⭐️ Meryl O'Rourke
Acclaimed stand-up comic and accomplished TV writer Meryl O'Rourke, revels in her bitterness. A potty mouthed potty trainer, she has delighted comedy audiences, written some of the best gags on telly and even hosted pop concerts (the last one to 12,000 people!)
She supported Frankie Boyle for part of his last tour, at his request. She also supported him at the Hammersmith Apollo. In his book 'Work! Consume! Die!' he calls Meryl "Inspiringly funny".
Her solo stand-up show Bad Mother… was a hit at Edinburgh and Brighton festivals. Directed by Foster's Comedy Award nominee Thom Tuck, it received 5-star reviews and was The Times’ Critic’s Choice.
⭐️ Dani Jones
Dani Johns is a recovering chav and enthusiastic Bristolian.
With an energetic mix of story-telling and serious over-sharing, Dani has been described as one of the best new comics on the scene and has performed alongside Jon Richardson, Angela Barnes and Rosie Jones.
Quick-witted, brutally honest and full of Bristolian charm, Dani is one to watch on the South West comedy scene.
⭐️ Matt Bragg
The son of television warm up man Bobby Bragg and one of the most stylish comedians out there, the mod-ish Matt Bragg has been entertaining crowds across the world for the past decade. With a unique, low-energy, deadpan style and meticulously crafted material he has been gaining critical acclaim from audiences, promoters and comedians alike.
After a few years of honing his craft Matt was introduced to the bigger stages performing as tour support in front of arenas and theatres for the likes of Ricky Gervais, Matt Rife, Harry Hill, Lloyd Griffith, Suzi Ruffell, Jason Manford, John Bishop, Clinton Baptiste, Scott Bennett amongst many others.
After establishing himself as one of the most exciting and sought-after names in comedy, Matt took his debut show Matt Bragg Has Nothing Wrong With Him across Europe in 2024 before embarking on two runs of a sell-out tour of the UK.
