A new venue for us! The lovely people at St James Road Methodist Church and Make and Brew community cafe are hosting us for April!A beautiful space with a gorgeous cafe in very close proximity. We would encourage you to please bring your takeaway cups so you can have a swap while you enjoy you socialising and beverages as you won't be able to take crockery between the two spaces.
The usual swap rules apply—“bring things you don’t want, leave with things you do”—but here’s how it will all work:
✅ The swap is still a suggested £2 donation for entry, and guests can arrive at any time with the option to pay by contactless.
✅Use the provided hand gel on the entrance before going in and you can use this after too. Wear your mask if you wish.
✅ Lay your things out neatly and choose items you'd like to take home. Please be proportionate in the amount of items you take vs the items you leave👗👕
What we need from you:
✨ Wash your clothes before bringing them.
✨ Be mindful and respectful of others while browsing.
Clothes swaps are a fun, informal way to save clothes from landfill 🌍, refresh your wardrobe and provides an alternative to supporting fast fashion brands. Looking forward to seeing you there! 💃♻️
