April 2026 Jam City

On April 11, 2026, Santa Barbara Improv will host "Jam City," a long form improv jam open to everyone regardless of skill level or experience. There will be no established teams. Prospective players will place their names in a hat. Names will then be drawn at random to form teams, with each team having at least one experienced player. The number of people on a team and the length of the set will be determined by the overall number of participants, but it should be around 12-15 minutes per 6 person team. Jam City is an opportunity for people who have little experience in long from to get their feet wet, and it will provide a chance for experienced players to perform with folks from our wider Central Coast improv community.
