About this Event
This workshop is a transformative experience designed to equip you to become a courageous and effective leader in both your personal and professional life.
Where and how do you want to be braver?
Brené Brown, Ph.D., defines a leader as “anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes, and who has the courage to develop that potential.” We all have the potential to lead courageously in our families, schools, organizations, businesses, and communities. Dare to Lead ™ supports you in developing the skills and qualities essential for growing and thriving in today's world.
About The Dare To Lead™ Program
Join this interactive, research-based courage-building workshop designed by researcher and thought-leader, Dr. Brené Brown. This Dare to Lead™ program focuses on how we can be brave leaders and individuals who create courageous cultures. Leaders who know how to skillfully have hard conversations, take proactive risks that lead to innovation, reset quickly after challenges and setbacks, hold themselves and others accountable, lead with empathy and connection, and give and receive feedback - especially when it's tough.
The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable. The Dare to Lead™ program focuses on developing these courage-building skills through workshops, trainings, and coaching to help individuals, teams, and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.
Skill Set 1: Rumbling with Vulnerability - Facing risk, uncertainty, and emotional exposure with courage and clarity.
Skill Set 2: Living into Our Values - Identifying, operationalizing, and practicing the beliefs that you hold most important.
Skill Set 3: BRAVING Trust - Creating or deepening connections in relationships and teams based on the seven elements of trust.
Skill Set 4: Learning to Rise - Learning and growing from the failures, setbacks, and disappointments that are inevitable when we are brave with our lives.
What to Expect
This in person workshop is designed as a facilitated leadership intensive offering meaningful learning opportunities and intentional time to connect with the material and with fellow participants.
