April 2025 ISSA Meeting

Matt Heit will give a talk about the rise of citizen developers within an organization along with Shadow IT due to low code or no code solutions.

Our meeting is being sponsored by Ahead this month and hosted by EMC Insurance.

Visitors may park in the 750 Mulberry Street parking ramp, located just south of the Corporate Office. They should enter through the west side, take a parking slip at the gate, and bring that slip to check-in for validation.

Info: Matt is a native of Waterloo, IA Matt served in the Navy as a Cryptologist for 20 years. During his 20 year Navy career he served in a number of capacities primarily revolving around strategic, operational, and tactical military intelligence. Due to the nature and classification of his military career, he has been involved in Information Security since 1997. Upon retiring from the military, he worked for ClearRidge Defense and was the Senior Cyber Planner for the Marine Corps Cyber Headquarters. Before moving back to Iowa, he was a Department of Navy civilian and served as the Senior Cyber Analyst and Reporter for the Navy Cyber units at the National Security Agency. He's been with Farm Bureau Financial Services for about 7 years, originally hired as a Senior Information Security Analyst, and currently serves as a Technical Operations Manager.
