We're getting excited for Migratory Bird Day (May 12) and in anticipation of this day we want to teach you to how to make nesting balls to welcome back our fine feathered friends. Attendees will walk around the farm to gather materials to make the nesting balls (please wear appropriate footwear and bring snips if you have them). This workshop does require some hand dexterity so please keep that in mind when registering.
Then back in the classroom, Kelly will teach attendees how to weave the nesting balls and discuss the best materials recommended and those not suitable for this project. Children are free for this event with a registered adult. Each registered student will get two set of materials to make and take home.
