Approved Clinician Refresher Course - Wed 23 October 2024

This course is designed to fulfil the training standards and requirements necessary to enable eligible mental health professionals gain re-approval of their Approval Clinician (AC) status.

Your attendance at an Approved Clinician Refresher Course is part of the requirements for re-approval as an Approved Clinician and this attendance must be within 1 year of the scheduled date for your re-approval.

This course is two-part:

• e-learning modules that should be completed ahead of the webinar
• one 4-hour live webinar via MS Teams

Please note that Approved Clinicians do not need to attend a Section 12 (2) Refresher Course as long as their section 12(2) re-approval date is within 1 year of their attendance of the Approved Clinician Refresher Course.

Existing Approved Clinicians are now only required to attend a one day refresher course.

Participants will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance at the end of the course and the course is eligible for 6CPD hours, subject to peer group approval.
