The Alzheimer's disease epidemic continues to grow. As a first responder, it's critical to be prepared to face it in your community. We will discuss tips and strategies to respond to common behaviors, understanding Alzheimer's and dementia, and the warning signs.
Trainers include John Clark, President of Emergency Search and Rescue of Georgia & Alzheimer's Association Community Educator, and Jessi Barton, CDP & Alzheimer's Association Community Educator. Both are volunteer CIT trainers.
Presented by the Alzheimer's Association and The Lodge at Stephens Lake.
2 hours of POST, Fire, and EMS Training Hours.
