Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)

LivingWorks ASIST is a 2-day interactive workshop that will provide you with the skills to intervene with someone who has thoughts of suicide.

You will learn to:

• Develop a safety plan to keep someone safe-for-now and connect them with further help
• Talk openly about personal and community attitudes and suicide
• Build confidence and capacity in providing suicide first-aid

Certificates of attendance will be provided and are awaiting IBC approval.

Attendees will have a 1 hour break for lunch from 12:30 PM -1:30 PM on both days. Lunch will not be provided.

This training and registration fees are sponsored by the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services.
