Location: Please meet in front of Wantage Community Support Services Building, Charlton Village Road, Wantage, OX12 7HG (by Wantage Market Garden).If you want to find out more about how to prune fruit trees then this workshop is for you.
We have some young apple trees planted last year that are growing well, but to ensure strong growth and effective fruiting for years to come they must be pruned.
Come and learn from an expert how to prune using these apple trees as a demonstration. We will cover when to prune, the tools needed and how to do it effectively.
You are welcome to stay on at the end to join the Market Garden volunteers for tea and cake.
