Apopka Birding Park Workday
Advertisement
Orange Audubon Society is working on creating a nature center and habitat restoration at the Apopka Birding Park, which is the old nursery site to the right of the entrance to the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive. The property is owned by the City of Apopka and leased by Orange Audubon.
We are skipping July and August workdays due to the heat.
We plan our 14th workday on Saturday, September 26, 8am to 11am. Note that we are starting at 8am to beat the heat.
Please join us! Bring good gloves, and if you have them, shovels, and hand pruners.
Here is the official signup link to sign your waiver: https://orangeaudubonfl.org/apopka-birding-park-volunteering-spanish-english/
If you have any questions in advance, email Deborah at [email protected] or call 407-637-2525.
