The engagements around the Ring of Salt have ended in blood and disaster.
Neither the defenders of Ander's Forge nor the Execution Fleet's legions have succeeded in their goal of controlling the asteroid belt. Infrustructure has been destroyed, satellites have been hurled out of orbit, and what little resources remain have been scoured or stolen by marauding raiders. Worse still, in the deepest, quietest portion of the Ring, the last remnants of an ancient Tomb World has awoken. The C'tan Shard of the Sufferer has been unleashed on the galaxy!
This event is an all-day megabattle for Warhammer 40,000, and it is our narrative capstone for our Salt and Suffering Crusade campaign. Bring your army, some grit, and fight your way to victory!
- How do I sign up?
Call the store or pay us a visit in person! Choose one of two teams, the Ander's Forge Defenders or the Execution Fleet. Each team has up to six members.
- What do I need to bring?
Each player needs 1500 points of any Warhammer 40,000 army, and any tools needed to play with that army. While the Ander's Forge Defenders are nominally Imperials and the Execution Fleet are themed as Chaos, any army can play on either team. This army *must* be fully painted. It is also recommended that you bring a water bottle.
For those that took part in our Salt and Suffering campaign, you must use a standard amy list instead of your Crusade list.
- What time does the event start?
The event begins at 11am, which gives us about an hour to set up and go over the unique megabattle rules before we begin play. The game lasts 3 rounds, which will last until the end of the day at 8pm.
