Aphasia is a problem with language that results from damage to the language centers of the brain, usually due to stroke or brain injury. A person with aphasia can have difficulty with any aspect of language and communication including speaking, listening, reading, and/or writing.Connecting with other individuals who are coping with aphasia in their lives can be an important part of thriving, despite the challenges of a language problem.
Facilitated by Speech Language Pathologists from St. Joseph Hospital, this group promotes a supportive, safe, and fun space for patients.
This group is free for any community member to attend, and is going to be held on the second Tuesday of every month at St. Joseph Hospital Outpatient Rehabilitation on 75 Northeastern Blvd in Nashua, NH from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. No pre-registration is required to attend this group.
