Learn to play Scopone Scientifico, the Italian way!
Looking for a fun and authentic Italian experience? Join us for an evening of friendly competition, great company, and a traditional Italian aperitivo as you learn to play Scopone Scientifico, one of Italy's most beloved card games.
Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced player, everyone is welcome. Ileana Tamberlani, ICC native Italian instructor, will explain the rules in English and guide new players through the game. If you already know how to play, come share your skills and enjoy a few friendly matches.
Scopone Scientifico is a classic four-player partnership game, a strategic variation of Scopa that has been enjoyed by generations of Italians. For many of us, it brings back fond memories of evenings spent playing with grandparents, family, and friends.
Come on your own or bring a partner. If you don't have a teammate, we'll pair you up at the event. It's a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow Italy enthusiasts, practice a little Italian, and experience a favorite Italian pastime.
