Teams choose 3 of the 5 team members to participate in each match. The total of the skill levels of the 3 players fielded cannot exceed 15. Only one player of skill level 6 or higher, can be fielded.
Alternate between 8-Ball & 9-Ball racks, starting with 8-Ball.
Each individual rack is worth one team point - handicapped team race.
Modified single elimination bracket
32 teams maximum
Up to $2800 pay-out to winners for travel assistance w/12+ teams, remainder will go to 2nd & 3rd place teams
Format and payouts will vary depending on entries
Qualifications:
- Must have 20-matches of 8 or 9-ball (not combined) within the last two years
- Players must have completed two (2) sessions as a Team Captain of a standard 8-Ball, 9-Ball, or Ladies team in the previous league year. Teams must be in separate sessions. Players are not allowed to captain two teams in the same session and still be eligible for this event. Please reach out to the league office directly if you believe you are eligible but are not on the list.
- Players must have played at least four (4) matches in the Spring 2026 Session in Arapahoe County APA
- Player’s highest skill level between formats (8-Ball & 9-Ball) must be used towards the 15-Rule. 8 & 9's count as a SL 7
- Players must be on an active (Summer Session) APA roster.
List of eligible captains to come after completion of the spring session ~ late May.
