APA | DC Presents: A Yoga Workshop for Photographers & Creatives

Art at its core is about observing and interpreting the outside world while yoga encourages us to look inward. Through this inner exploration, artists can open up new channels of seeing themselves, their work and how it all fits into the larger ecosystem.

On Saturday, January 25th 1-4pm, please join APA|DC board member, photographer and certified yoga teacher, Hannele Lahti, for an afternoon absorbed in the teachings and practice of yoga as it relates to making art. The program will consist of a grounding Hatha flow,* balancing breath practice, guided meditation and take-home journal prompts to help you prepare for the year ahead.

*This is an all-levels physical practice, no yoga experience necessary.

Bring your mat (if you have one), journal, pen, water bottle. We will provide additional mats, props and light snacks.
1pm - Arrive / settle in
1:15pm - Yoga and breath practice
3:00pm - Break / Journaling time
3:30pm - Guided Meditation and final takeaways
4pm - Program ends
