We invite our community to gather this Anzac Day at memorial park, to honour and remember the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our nation. Hosted by the Palmerston RSL Sub-Branch, with our support, this commemoration event delivers the Dawn Service and Veteran March.
🕯️6:00 am – Dawn Service, Palmerston Memorial Park
🍳6:45am - Breakfast, Cazalys Palmerston
🎖️8:30 am – March Form Up, Council Carpark
🚶‍♂️‍➡️9:00 am – Anzac Day March Commences
▪️11:00am - Two up, Cazalys Palmerston
đźš—Limited parking will be available at the main council carpark.
🚧Temporary road closures will be in place between 5:45 am to 10:00 am to ensure the safety of participants and attendees.
Affected streets include:
▪️The Boulevard (between Chung Wah Terrace and Palmerston Cct)
▪️Palmerston Circuit (between University Ave and The Boulevard)
▪️Frances Drive (between The Boulevard and University Ave)
▪️Koullias Street
▪️Hillson Street
▪️Mansfield Street
▪️Kilgour Street
Memorial Park and the council car park are side by side in the Palmerston CBD, making it easy for attendees to move between the dawn service and the march form-up area.
Please follow all traffic directions in place on the day.
We encourage veterans, families, community groups and residents of all ages to stand with us as we pay our respects.
