Anywhere, Suddenly A Pub Play at The Woodshop
Truth unravels in the foothills... in this Appalachian folk alt-country-paranormal-grit-love letter from the road. Anywhere, Suddenly is a 100% original performance piece made in Chattanooga, integrating storytelling, live music, and film.
"An evening of ghost stories slowly melds into the eldritch, erotic, everlasting. Anywhere, Suddenly follows storyteller Jack Whelan as tales of haunted mountains, forgotten folklore, and restless spirits give way to a deeply personal story about love, loss, memory, and the ghosts we carry with us. Haunting and heartfelt, this original one-man play blurs the line between folklore and confession, inviting audiences into a world where every story feels just true enough to believe." - Courtenay Cholovich
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING:
"OMG - What a great storyteller and the wonderful eerie music. Can't wait to hear... the rest of the story!!" - T. Wallace
"Spellbinding evening! The storytelling is masterful and the musical accompaniment is mesmerizing. We shivered!" - Michael A.
"Loved it! The stories, acting, music, film, all of it. Count me in for Part 2 this fall!" - Carol W.
"When a show starts with, 'well, shit!', you know it's going to be a good show." - Anne B.
"Brilliant! Poetic. Complex in its grasp of the fleeting nature of human connection." - Tom B.
