Sheryl Meck (Director of Civil Rights Outreach) and Alana Burman (Director of Policy, Intergovernmental Affairs, & Mediation) will present on antisemitism, bias, and civil rights in Pennsylvania.
Sheryl Meck is a founder and co-chair of Diversity Respect Inclusivity Vales Equity (D.R.I.V.E.) Committee of the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas, a committee that is dedicated to community outreach and improving relationships between the Court system and the community.
Alana Burman’s professional career has included advocating for groups that have difficulty being heard in government, and bringing diverse groups of people together to advance common policy goals. She enjoys public speaking and volunteering with seniors and within her Jewish community.
