About this Event

The Antic Follies present a spectacular Sunday night of cabaret, comedy, clowning and live music at Jamboree!
“…the dirty alternative to Soho’s glitz, a diabolical night of cabaret and burlesque"
Tonight's performers are:
Dominic Jones! Obsessive songs and literary tales about the morbid and the mystical that strike a fine line between humour and darkness.
Cheekykita! “Like Alice in Wonderland on Adderall… curious, shambolic and kind of magical”
Wild, absurd, and gloriously un-pigeon holed. Part stand-up showcase, part dance, part cabaret, part installation art. Imagine Kate Bush marrying The Mighty Boosh, with Harry Hill officiating. Mancunian charm, pop-culture wit, endlessly engaging.
Nina Smith as "Debbie Dongler"! Actor, voiceover artist and a comedy performer with an interest in clowning and performance art, tonight performing as her character " Debbie Dongler". Winner of The Funny Women Awards in double act "Twisted Loaf". "They stormed the night with surreal, silly and beautifully performed sketches reminiscent of Cardinal Burns ( and- in the case of Smith- Rowan Atikinson)" - Huffington Post
Mark Duncan! Actor, director and physical performer, Mark is a graduate of Bretton Hall and East 15 Acting school, and is the Artistic Director of Cornucopia Theatre Company. He often performs mime under the name Monsieur Mu.
And our host, as always, is the inimitable Tom Baker.
And the post-cabaret band: The Bohemianauts! The familiar bastard cabaret trio of accordion, guitar and bass, joined tonight by Colin of Bum Notes on sax.
Jamboree food option: Our ‘Zer’ kitchen is open from 5pm serving delicious Middle Eastern fusion food for you to enjoy a pre-gig meal/snack if you wish!
