What did Americans really know about the Holocaust—and how did anti-Semitism shape public opinion and policy during that time? In this engaging presentation, Emily Knight, North Bullitt High School teacher and PhD candidate in Holocaust and Genocide Studies, explores anti-Jewish attitudes in the United States leading up to and throughout World War II. From resistance to accepting Jewish refugees to widespread opposition about joining the war, learn how prejudice and public sentiment influenced America's response.
Psst... This presentation is especially recommended for teens, parents, and educators. North Bullitt students in Ms. Knight's class will receive extra credit for attending!
For ages 12 and up. Just drop in!
Space will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
