Antarctica is coming to a library near you! Come celebrate Antarctica and get polar inspiration to help us create a colourful bunting. The bunting we will create together will represent your local library at Cambridge Central Library on Monday 28 October when a researcher from the British Antarctic Survey will be happy to meet you all and share stories from their work aboard the Royal Research Ship Sir David Attenborough in another cool and free event!Join us for:
10.30-11am: Storytime (18 months to 5 years old)
Bring your child to the library to hear wonderful Antarctica-themed stories!
11-11.30am: Penguin treasure hunt (age 3+)
Find penguins hidden in the library!
11.30-11.50am: Screening of ‘Antarctic ocean and food web’ (age 5+)
Let's watch together ‘Antarctic ocean and food web’ by the British Antarctic Survey to learn how the ocean around Antarctica and the animals living in it are unique (age 5+). Let's get inspired for our community craft!
11.50am-1.30pm Community family craft
Let's create create a polar bunting representing Milton Road Library!
