IN Annual Volunteer Training & AwardsThis event is one of our most important events of the year. All active volunteers of the state will be invited to attend. During this two-day meeting, the State Chair will present the state’s Committee Implementation Plan (CIP) to go over our state goals and mission objectives. The current metrics of what the committee has accomplished thus far will be presented and compared to our previous year’s results. The Ombudsman Director will have a session with our Ombudsman team to review updates on USERRA and best practices. Employer & Military Outreach Directors will provide training sessions and overall best practices will be discussed. Goals and plans will be adjusted for the remainder of the Fiscal Year and Area Chairs will have breakouts with their groups to set the FY26 goals. State Volunteer awards will be presented, and all of our volunteer award winners will be recognized during this event.
