Our Annual Volunteer & Adopter Picnic is back for another year of food, fun, and friends — and this year, CGA is joining the Great Global Greyhound Walk, a worldwide celebration that brings together greyhounds and other sighthounds for one special day of walking and awareness.
We’ll meet under the pavilion at noon, right at the start of the picnic, for a low-key, flat walk around the YMCA grounds. It’s an easygoing opportunity for our hounds and humans to stretch their legs while joining sighthound lovers around the world.
Costume contest! The 2026 Great Global Greyhound Walk theme is “Mythical Mutts,” so dress up your hound in their best mythical-inspired look: think dragons, unicorns, wizards, fairies, or anything your imagination comes up with. The winner takes home $25 cash!
