Ten years ago, we laced our shoes,
With purpose strong and hearts to use.
Back then, “walkathon” was barely a name
But we walked, and gave, and lit a flame.
We walked for dreams beyond our own,
For children whose struggles remained unknown.
Each step we've taken helped pave the way,
For young students in Nagapattinam, day by day.
Now the kids have grown, and we have too,
But the need remains—deep, real, and true.
So join us now—bring friends, bring cheer,
To walk with purpose, year to year.
August 16th is the day,
Let’s walk again the giving way.
