Join the Progressive Center for Independent Living (PCIL) for our annual Summer Picnic—a fun-filled afternoon where people with disabilities, families, friends, and community members from Mercer County and Hunterdon County, New Jersey come together to celebrate the end of summer. It's a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, make new friends, and enjoy a day of fun in an inclusive outdoor setting.
On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, join us at Mercer County Park's West Picnic Area for an afternoon filled with music, delicious food, exciting entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to connect with others. Enjoy a crowd-favorite magic and bubble show, games, conversation, and a relaxing day in the park. We'll also be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, sides, refreshments, and a special sweet summer treat.
Community events like our annual picnic provide a chance to strengthen friendships, build new connections, and celebrate everything that makes the PCIL community so special. Whether you've attended for years or this is your first picnic, we invite you to come enjoy great food, great company, and a memorable day together.
Please note: If you require a personal aide to attend, be sure to indicate this during registration.
