Annual Summer BBQ 2026: Boston Korean Adoptees

Join us for our annual summer picnic at Filipello Park 191 Grove St. Watertown, MA on Sunday August 16 from 12-3pm !
You can bring friends and family - including the furry ones (there is a dog park there)!
BKA will supply some food, including hamburgers, hot dogs, a veggie option (probably veggie burgers), chips, and salad, but please feel free to bring a dish to share if you'd like! Many people bring desserts and Korean food as well!
If you cannot bring a dish, a donation of $5-10 per person to help offset the cost of food is welcome, if you are able!
Please pay at the event!~
Please RSVP at the ticket link (https://www.bkadoptee.org/events#!event/2026/8/16/bka-annual-summer-bbq-2026) so we can get a headcount (but if you find you can come the day-of, just swing by)!
Splash Water pad for kids, bring towels!
Free Parking lot as well!
New to the adoptee community? Don't be shy, feel free to come and you will be greeted by our Board of Directors and many friendly faces of all ages!
Are you a transnational adoptee? You are welcome!
NH, Maine, Vermont adoptees, NY...all welcome!
We are a small all volunteer non-profit. Any help or volunteers able to help on the day of, loading, setting up, grilling, or helping with cleaning at the end, please reach out [email protected]
