Kick Off the Christmas Season with the Annual Spirit of Giving Tree Lighting Ceremony on Tuesday, December 2nd, at The Center for Rural Development at 6:00 pm.
Join us for a cherished holiday tradition filled with warmth, joy, and community spirit!

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:
* Welcome & Recognition of Dignitaries Present – Express our appreciation to our local elected officials and special invited guests.
* Tree Lighting Ceremony – Watch as we illuminate the Christmas tree and celebrate the spirit of the season.
* Special Guests – Cast members from the Kentucky Ballet Theatre’s “The Nutcracker” will help light the tree and spread festive cheer!
* Photo Opportunities – Meet and take photos with the dancers by the Christmas tree before the ceremony.
* Reception – Enjoy delicious treats and refreshments courtesy of Karen’s Catering.
This event is FREE and open to the public.
Following the tree lighting, stay to experience the wonder of “The Nutcracker,” performed by Kentucky Ballet Theatre, Lexington’s premier professional ballet company.
